Text Box: Kirkland Preschool Text Box: PARENTS This month, the children are earning money by doing different jobs at school. They will be paid for making items, art and books to sell at our store, by being cooperative, by helping clean-up, by learning songs, and more. The teachers pay children with pennies for these jobs done at school. PLEASE DO NOT ADD ANY OTHER MONEY TO BANKS. WE REALLY NEED EXTRA FREETIME HELP THIS MONTH TO HELP THE CHILDREN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE MANY OPPORTUNITIES WE HAVE PLANNED. This is a wonderful way to encourage great hands-on math experiences. Please note: we are not doing sharing this month. We will be back on schedule April 7th, when we return from spring break. Check the sharing dates in your school handbook or look on the little bulletin board next to the cubbies to see when your child shares next.

Remember—children’s banks stay at school all month.

11   BRING 1 CLEAN, FLAT ROCK to decorate   (about 4” size)

at home?

Parents … don’t be shy!  Please share your musical talents with us the week of 3/17-19.

Very informal — just sit in our “music store”  with your instrument to play

and visit during freetime.  (We even have a keyboard.)

Every child needs a grown-up at school at that time, please.

 

3/31—4/3     No School  — Spring Break.  We return to school on Tuesday, April 7th,

                     to learn about fire safety.
