Parents: Your children are scientists without even trying! In October, we planted bean seeds and are still observing how they sprout. Now we are discovering the differences between insects and arachnids. Later in the month, we are looking at slightly larger animals — our pets. You are welcome to share your smaller, caged pets—perhaps a hamster, gecko, or such. However, our insurance policy does not allow us to have dogs or cats on our property. Also, look for the new Kids’ Time sign-ups. We offer this service the 2nd Saturday each month (11/14) and this month, on two Friday evenings—Friday, 11/6, and Friday 11/20. Perhaps, there’s a date night in your future! |
