Text Box: CONSTRUCTION and FIRE SAFETY
Text Box: Parents:
We are making a lot of planes, boats, boxes and all kinds of things with wood and nails. We encourage the students to paint their creation at school, as well, because we hope each student will make one great complete piece, rather than many smaller items.

If you have any small, soft wood scraps at home, we are grateful to accept them!

Text Box: April 8—17:
Join our school-wide drive to benefit HOPELINK. The younger classes are concentrating on pet care items and your class is collecting non-perishable people food!
Text Box: Please talk to your child about your family’s exit plan for emergencies at home. Also, ask about our plan at school. The students should know that we stop talking, look to a teacher and listen for directions. This is an excellent time for your family to plan and practice what windows and doors to go out, where your family meeting place is, when to call 9-1-1 …. all kinds of great discussions!
